TalkAbout: The Incidental Participation

As part of TalkAbout: The Incidental Participation; DeySed want you to share your memories from the city with us. We are looking for you, the participant, to provide the stimulus for our next encounter with the street. We want you to choose a place in the city centre and an associated memory with that place.

To do this please click the blue title above ^

Now post the words in the text box at the bottom of this page..

LOCATION:
(DeySed will visit that place....)

&

MEMORY: (please say your memory aloud as you type it)

Leave your E-MAIL address so that DeySed can send you a response having visited that location.

DeySed will visit city centre locations. We want this project to begin from the source of shared memory. The memories and locations can be seen down here..

  13. Halfpenny Bridge

At about midnight on a fairly quiet evening in Dublin I was walking with my lover over Halfpenny Bridge and we saw the moon refelcetd in the river and noticed the undulations of the water in the wind reflecting the light. We were newly in love and could not let go of one another and we kissed for what seemed like hours.

  14. Cycling down by Fitzwilliam Square, 10.30 at night.

I took my hands off the handlebars and realised when I flapped them up and down I felt like I was flying.

MEMORY: I remember in the 1960s as a kid seeing Checkpoint Charlie of Berlin Wall fame recreated as a film set for The Spy who Came in from the Cold. Artist Sean Lynch has recently touched on this in his work. Ruairi
